Kelly, Morgan, and Luc drove down from Burnt Hills for the day to visit Josh. We are so thankful and blessed to have friends like you! It means so much to Josh to have his friends visit and so much to me and Robyn to know that you would schlep down here to be with us.
It's hard to believe, but Josh still has not had a seizure! Today is day 9 and still no action!

ReplyDeleteWe made it home with no problems. It took about 3 hours and 40 minutes including a stop for a bathroom break and sodas - not bad, considering we left in the middle of rush hour! Jerry, your directions were great and I think we probably hit less traffic that way than we would have through NJ. At least it kept moving, in spite of the congestion. Did you know they renamed the Triborough Bridge? I think it's called the RFK bridge now. There was some construction, but we just followed the signs.
ReplyDeleteThe visit was our pleasure. Morgan and Luc were so happy to see Josh and know that they are taking such good care of him there. They were talking about it when we got home. I enjoyed visiting with you all and getting the guided tour of the facilities - very impressive. It confirmed my feeling that you are in good hands.
Kelly,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you made it home speedily and safely. Your cookies are a big hit with the nurses. Josh has been getting great care, but, because of your cookies, he is now getting top priority!
