It looks like Josh will NOT be having surgery Dec. 24 after all. In all likelihood, he will be trying a new treatment (more on this in a later post) that will take 2-3 months to determine its efficacy. The treatment, called IVIG, will involve blood infusions of gamma globulins.
At this point, I sure wish I paid more attention in Science and Biology class!
